FEEDBACK FROM MCH 2016 & 2017
⋆ ⋆ ⋆ ⋆ ⋆

  • “I had such a wonderful time! It was so great coming back and seeing friends from last year and meeting new people as well. I felt so welcome too; I don’t think you could find a dance scene with friendlier or kinder people <3” — Bailey, 2017
  • “I enjoyed very much the taster classes and the organized tours, which made this event really stand out for me, among the many different lindy hop camps, exchanges and workshops I have attended around the world. Getting to try out new dance styles, visit awesome local sights, and experience the rich culture of South Africa during MCH was so special.” — Rik, 2017
  • “Mother City Hop was the best time I’ve had in the one and a half years since coming to South Africa. Everyone was great. It didn’t matter that I’d never even heard of Lindy hop before since everyone was willing to teach, dance and just have fun.” — Michael, 2017
  • “Mother City Hop was a wonderful experience. Extremely well organised, excellent programme, fantastic venues, fabulous parties, friendly people. Difficult to single out a particular aspect as being a favourite part.”
